Hike & Mass: Mt. Pilchuck on May 28th, 7am

Frassati is inviting all undergrads to participate in their monthly Hike & Mass.

Meet at the Newman Center by 7am to arrange carpools and then get on our way.  We’ll be back to Seattle around 5:00pm.  This is a difficult hike, with 2,300ft elevation gain in only 2.7 mi (5.4 mi roundtrip), yet the views from the top are worth the effort!  An old fire lookout sits atop giant boulders at the top of this mountain, which give 360° views of the Cascade mountains on a clear day.  Fr. Chrysostom will say Mass towards the top!  Even in late May, there is a strong chance there will be snow at the top.  Please be prepared with good traction hiking boots, hiking poles, and/or microspikes/yak tracks.  Bring plenty of water, a lunch, snacks, and layers.  Hope to see you there!
