 10am Watch Party: Wonderful news!! On May 7th, four Dominican Student Brothers will be taking their Solemn Vows, (Brs. Scott Norgaard, Paschal Strader - both former residency brothers at Newman - , Br. Andrew Thomas Kang and Br. Athanasius Thompson), and so vowing to live the Apostolic way of life of obedience, celibacy and poverty, until death. This is like their wedding day, when each brother totally give of themselves to God as their one true spouse, and to a way of life in imitation of Christ for the love and salvation of souls. We will have nice pastries and coffee available from 10am; the online Mass begins at 10:30am. 

Midday Prayer (10 min)

12-1pm Lunch: Free Lunch of some kind will be provided (probably pizza). 

1pm Landscaping: We need to do some landscaping spring cleanup, especially in preparation for the wine tasting event the next week. Work that needs to be done includes weeding, leaf and debris removal, & possibly some mulching. Gloves and tools will be provided, but bring your own work clothes.
