The application for our student ministry team for the 2025-2026 school year is now open!

As you may know, the Newman Center is a primarily student-run ministry. This means that we have a core group of students who are responsible for planning our events and leading small groups that serve the student community. Everything from Freshman group, holiday parties, community service projects, and more, are planned by students who are a part of what we call the Student Ministry Team. It is a one academic year commitment, and students can expect to give an average of 3 hours a week, depending on the specific projects/groups they sign up for. It is a great opportunity to use your interests and talents in service of the Church, grow in leadership skills, and be formed into disciples of Christ through regular formation.

Attached is the application which has a more detailed description of what Student Ministry is and the basic requirements of a SMT member. I hope you will all prayerfully consider joining this ministry and help us make next year a great year of undergraduate ministry! The application is due on May 31st. Please be aware that when filling out the form, you will not be able to save your responses and continue later. It might be best to use Word to write out your responses and then copy/paste them into the form when you are ready to submit.
