Frassati is going to the beach! We’ll be headed out to Olympic National Park for a two night trip, car camping the first night, then doing an overnight backpacking trip at Toleak Point.
We won’t have a priest with us on the trip, however we will have time for prayer and spiritual discussion.

The hike to Toleak Point along Third Beach Trail is rated as moderate with 5.5 miles along a beach, and beachside cliffs. There is only about ~500 feet of elevation gain across the whole trail. While hiking we’ll get some beautiful ocean views, then set up camp at Toleak Point. Toleak Point is known for its haystacks, or rock formations that stick out like spires in the water.

This is an AllTrails rated moderate hike - backpacking is something that is physically and mentally challenging. Make sure you are prepared to hike 5.5 miles a day carrying 30+ pounds of weight. That being said, the goal of Frassati is to make backpacking accessible and to grow in community through challenging ourselves. We're excited for you to join whether you are a beginner or experienced backpacker.
