Frassati members and undergrads are invited to join our very last Lumen event before we break for the summer!
This Lumen event will feature a Q&A panel of five priests from diverse backgrounds, representing both the Eastern and Western Catholic Churches. Panelists include Fr. Daniel Dozier (Byzantine Rite), Fr. Justin Ryan, Fr. Marcin Szymanski, O.P., Fr. Colin Parrish, and Fr. Joseph Park, O.S.B.
The intention of this panel is not necessarily to focus on theologically heavy questions or apologetics, but rather to provide young adults with insight into the daily lives, vocations, routines, joys, challenges, and experiences of priests.
The panel will begin with a guided discussion around three prepared questions, giving each priest the opportunity to share his own background and current ministry. After this structured discussion, the evening will move into general audience Q&A.
After the panel, we will chant Night Prayer together (called “Compline”) with the Dominican Friars. This is followed by a social. Please note, no alcohol will be served at this event, as it is open to undergraduates too.
The speaker begins at 7pm sharp (plan to arrive a bit early) and the social ends at 10pm.
*** If you plan to leave before 10PM, you MUST park at UW parking lot N5 (5 min walk away), or else your car will be double parked in.
RSVP is not required
