Frassati Ski Day at Stevens Pass

Join us on Saturday, January 31st at Stevens Pass!

Please note that this activity is limited to 8 learners to ensure people learning to ski have an opportunity to receive feedback. Snowboarders are invited, however no instruction is available from Frassati.

If you are an experienced skier (comfortable getting on and off the lift, can get down green runs), then registration is not restricted. Please register to ensure you are included on communications.

Costs:

Daily lift ticket (full mountain) $169

Daisy Chair and Magic Carpet ticket (Beginner) ~ $100. Can only purchase day of at ticket window.

Rentals/Gear/And clothing may be additional expenses TBD. Estimated around $100. Please reserve rental gear in advance to make up pick up morning of faster and easier, and to ensure gear is available for you. 

Gear: Rentals are available. Skis and poles, boots, helmet (recommended), Goggles (cannot be rented, but sun glasses or safety glasses can help).

Clothing:

Clothing is not able to be rented.

  • Warm/puffy layers. Synthetic encouraged.

  • Warm leg layer

  • Ski socks (will prevent blisters and keep feet warmer)

  • Hard shells/Rain gear pants and jacket. 

  • Waterproof/Water Resistant Gloves/Mittens (if raining, bring a change of gloves) Knit gloves not recommended. 

  • Buff or neck gaiter to keep face warm

  • Beanie

  • Comfort bag if rainy day for drive home. Includes change of clothes and socks. 

  • Small Backpack (if desired)

Logistics Day Of:

  • 5:30 Meet at Blessed Sacrament at for Carpool (if needed) Please park along the fence for leaving cars behind. Subject to change depending on conditions.

  • 8:00 Meet at Stevens Pass lot 3 or 4 (keep an eye on email for specifics)

  • 8:30 Prayer and group introductions based on skiing terrain.

  • 9:00 Lifts start/Pick up rentals/Passes

  • Experienced Skiers can begin skiing. If renting gear, head over to the rental shop to get gear.

  • 9:30/10:00 Beginners can meet volunteers for instruction at the magic carpet.

  • 12:00 Lunch (location TBD, encouraged to bring a sack lunch)

  • 1:00 Resume skiing for after lunch laps.

  • 2:00 Return gear, return to car. Depart by 2:45 if hoping to make 5pm Mass at Blessed Sacrament.
