Enter this season of Lent with depth with other young adults as we pray about and discuss a fundamental theme to everyone’s life: The Pursuit of Happiness. Sisters Laura Immaculata & Lily Anne OP as our speakers and leaders for this retreat, we will hear talks and have small group discussions as we will delve into the core principles governing happiness, explore how our faith interweaves with this topic, and examine the concept of "the good life" as revered by ancient Greek philosophers and ask: “was Christ happy on the Cross?”. We will also discuss guiding principles in making sound choices in life, whether big or small.
We ask that, if you are able, to fast on Friday in preparation for the retreat please do so. Our location will be on the beautiful Camp Lutherwood grounds near Bellingham; their cabins are heated and furnished with bunk beds with shared bathrooms (options for couples available). All food is included in the cost (with scholarships available), and we will have a fun social on Saturday night (and a bonfire if the weather permits). See the website for details.
Things to bring
bedding for bunk beds (sleeping bag and/or blanket and sheet. Note that cabins are heated).
towel, shampoo/soap, toiletries
bible, spiritual reading, personal journal.
flashlight, beanie, warm coat.

Saturday
6:45 am Silent Adoration (optional)
7:45 am Office/Mornig Prayer
8:30 am Breakfast
9:30-10:30 am Talk 2 & small gp discussions.
10:30 am Mass & Midday Prayer
12 pm lunch
1-4 pm free time: (Silent time of recollection, optional rosary walk, opportunity for spiritual direction with Father or one of the sisters )
4:30pm: talk 3 with no small gp discussion .
5pm: vespers
5:30pm: dinner
6:30pm: talk 4
7:30pm - 9:00pm Adoration with Benediction (confession and prayer ministry may be available)
9:00pm Compline
