Join your other young adults at the Cabin Creek Lodge for our new Fall Retreat.
🌲 Location: Near Seattle, this 10,000 ft beautiful cabin is nestled on 51 acres beside the Yakima River in the Wenatchee National Forest, and will make you feel like you are a world away from the city. CLICK HERE for their website.
🙏 Spiritual Enrichment: this is a great opportunity to be encouraged or reconnect with your faith and deepen your spirituality through inspiring group activities, and meaningful discussions; we will have daily prayer, Mass & Adoration, along with 4 encouraging and thought-provoking talks.
🤝 Community: The focus of this retreat is community, so we will have numerous opportunities to hang out, (or if you prefer, time in nature); if you are new to the Seattle or our Frassati YA group, this is a great opportunity to plug into the community.
🏡 Cabin Comfort: Due to the generosity of this venue we are able to offer this retreat at its current cost. The cabin is very large (10,000 square feet), and includes a game room and other lounge areas, as well as a fire pit. That being said, the cabin is a cabin, so to make our first Fall retreat work, we will need everyone to pitch in.
🙋🏻♂️ There is no meal service, so everyone will also help in some way regarding cooking and/or cleaning, which we will inform you about once we have everyone registered.
⛺🛏️💤 The rooms all contain bunk beds or queen/king beds to share. Each room has a bathroom with sink, toilet & shower. (There are also 2 public toilets on each floor as well as two extra showers on the 2nd floor). We ask for 17 generous people (which will include the priests), to volunteer to stay either in tents or (for men only) to sleep on the group in one of the common rooms; first and second choice options can be seen in registration. If you are a married couple, the only option is to stay in a tent.
🔟% We have some scholarships available (25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%), so please reach out to us at frassati@uwnewman.org if you would like some.
Check-in begins on Friday at 4pm, dinner from 6:30-7:30pm. The retreat ends on Sunday with Mass and lunch, followed by clean up, with everyone leaving the property around 1:30pm.
We are really excited about our first Fall retreat and going to Cabin Creek. Carpool info is on the registration form.
