Like Theology on Tap, Lumen is when we come together at Newman to hear a speaker talk, but we also chant night prayer, and then head upstairs for a pint of beer and some food (or non-alcoholic beverage). Evening begins at 7pm and ends usually around 10pm.

This weeks talk is by Olga Sala: “Opus Dei reminds us of the "Universal call to Holiness", that we can be holy in the middle of the world, with our professional work, family life, and friendships. The basis of the spirit of Opus Dei is divine filiation, that fosters a life of faith, an awareness of the dignity of all human beings, and a love for the created world.
