Want to help make the grounds of Newman beautiful for the students and young adults this Spring?! This one day of service saves Newman the tremendous cost of hiring a landscaping contractor and is like giving the center a $15-20,000 donation. To get everything done, we would need about 20 people, so ask your friends! 

Tasks: trim hedges, remove leaves, weed. If we have the numbers ... transplant a few trees, remove dead cedars, plant new trees, trim other trees, mulch flower beds, & pressure wash.

We will start at 9:30 am, break at 12:30pm and resume at 1:30pm until around 4:00. Come for either the morning, afternoon, or both. We’ll have coffee and pastries in the morning to munch on at your leisure, and a delicious free lunch (we’ll take a survey around 11am to see what people would like, but either nice sandwiches, or pizza, or both).
