"The Use of Prayer in the Treatment of Chronic Illness" presented by Dr. Kamryn Laurence, ND
Chronic Disease is becoming more and more common across America with rates of cardiovascular disease, cancer and autoimmunity increasing every year. Dr. Laurence has seen countless patients who appear to be doing all the right things: eating healthy, exercising regularly, and drinking plenty of water, but they are still so sick. In these cases, there are often larger obstacles to cure that are being missed. This talk will look at commonly overlooked causes of chronic illness and how prayer can be a helpful tool to improve health outcomes.
The St. Joseph Association is a new men’s group formed by Fr. Nathaniel Maria. Meeting the last Saturday of the month at 2pm, this group will join in prayer, listen to a talk, and then share in fraternity. Open to undergrads and grads/young professionals.
