Eat, Pray, Agape is Back for August 2018!

All young adults and undergrad students are invited to our fourth annual 4 week summer series Eat, Pray, Agape! We will gather on the first 4 Thursdays of August, at 7pm in Blessed Sacrament Priory backyard (the house next to the church, enter through the open gate off the sidewalk between the priory and the church).

We will begin with Evening Prayer, then we will read together, discuss, and have some snacks and fun!

Dates: AUGUST 2 | 9 | 16 | 23

No prior reading or book required.

We will be reading The Abolition of Man, by C.S. Lewis. A short description of the book from goodreads: In the classic The Abolition of Man, C.S. Lewis, the most important Christian writer of the 20th century, sets out to persuade his audience of the importance and relevance of universal values such as courage and honor in contemporary society. Both astonishing and prophetic, The Abolition of Man is one of the most debated of Lewis’s extraordinary works. National Review chose it as number seven on their "100 Best Nonfiction Books of the Twentieth Century."
