Cafe Newman: Bringing Talent and Funds Together for a Worthy Cause

On Friday, October 10th, Newmanites gathered in the Newman chapel for our quarterly talent show and fundraiser, Cafe Newman, hosted by Newman's own Social Justice team! Performers displayed their talents - ranging from singing and playing the piano to performing science experiments. Even Fr. Jordan shared his talent- dancing to "Papa loves Mambo" while sporting a fruit headdress and some colorful sleeves!

Kelly Hickman from the Missions Office of the Archdiocese of Seattle was also present and gave a short presentation on our charitable organization of the night-Catholic Relief Services. The bake sale raised $500 to benefit Catholic Relief Services! Thank you to all who donated baked goods!

We'd love to have you join us for the next Cafe Newman- to share your talents and/or to support the performers and our fundraiser- on Friday, January 23rd!
