Catholic and a Husky!

Being Catholic and being a Husky - does it get any better than that?

If you’ve been through Newman, you probably remember those amazing retreats, the hilarious Café Newmans, the great lectures, socials, sports, and of course, the beauty of the Mass with all your friends. How great was it to have a parish for you right across the street from the UW?

You’ve been a part of a very special community.  But your involvement doesn't have to end with graduation.

Newman alumni have lots of ways they can stay involved, like through the awesome Grad/Young Adult group, volunteering on a committee or council, praying for the ministry and supporting the faith of students financially with a donation.

Newman is a great place, and it’s changed a lot over the years, and will continue to change in years to come. Why? Because you participated in the life of the Church here; you helped Newman grow and be a refuge for more students. Newman now serves 700-800 students a week, is adding Masses, retreats, staff, and more. Like never before, we’re able to do more for more students.

There’s an estimated 7,600-12,000 Catholics on campus and we need alumni like you to help us reach them all. It’s because of you that we can keep retreat fees low, fund events like RCIA, lectures, Bible study, community service, keep fees for dances and other events to a minimum, and provide all that free food!  But most importantly, we need your help to keep Newman a spiritual refuge, a home away from home.

If you’d like to get more involved, consider serving on a council, volunteering on a community service project, making a donation, or contacting a staff member to learn about other opportunities.

Haven't been around Newman lately?  Be sure to register and update us on what's been going on in your life?  We still want to be connected and supporting you!
